Description
*** THIS CLASS IS FULL ***
Fall in North Texas is a great time to get outside more, as the cooler days bring needed relief from the hot summer! Just as the fall weather reinvigorates us, the wild plants around us seem to come back to life, as well. Autumn is one of the most exciting times to forage, as we have the opportunity to store up on the nutrient and flavor-rich fruits and nuts that make foraging more than just a hobby, and into an art of true sustenance. As we hunt for ripe fruit and nuts on the trees and ground, we also find a variety of fresh edible greens to round out our meals!
You will see and learn over a dozen of the best wild edibles in North Texas. Hands-on experience is the best way to learn and remember what you learned in the long term, so it can serve you later as you continue your foraging adventures.
